ELGIN FALLS - NIAGARA FALLS

Called “Project Nova” during construction, this six story retirement community and senior housing building was completed in 2023. The building offers 150 units ranging from 420 sq. ft. up to 1135 sq. ft, with the second floor being a dedicated assisted living area. There are multiple amenities across all floors for the residences to access such as a bar and lounge, activity room, library, fitness centre, party room, theatre room and even a private dining area. When construction began the ground provided some challenges with heavy rock impacting excavation, which lead to the building being set on large concrete caissons that are 60 ft. deep with grade- beams placed on top. This cold formed steel and precast building is finished with cementitious siding, EIFS, and masonry on the exterior. The exterior work included 90 total parking spaces, a
second-floor terrace, and landscaping areas for residents to enjoy.
